Our Story Begins in 1860
Lawson Park Hotel is the historical pride and joy of the Mudgee community and home of the "The Red Heifer" bistro. Our guests are invited to discover and enjoy the beauty of "The Lawson", with an experience that encompasses; a warm welcome, charming country service, an extensive local wine menu and house made cocktails that are second to none.
Our bistro is dedicated to delivering fresh quality meals to all the family. Enjoy a perfectly cooked meal by our amazing chefs or just relax in front of one of our fireplaces with an icy cold beer or local Mudgee wine and watch the world go by.

The Lawson Park Hotel has a Main Bar, separate Sports Bar, Pool & Jukebox room, a beautiful Beer Garden, secure children’s play area (visible from the Beer Garden) and Dog friendly outdoor seating.
We have Lunch specials Monday to Friday and nightly Dinner specials that are popular amongst the locals.

Located on historic Church Street in Mudgee in the central tablelands of NSW, the Lawson Park Hotel was built in 1860 and retains much of its heritage appeal and certainly delivers on country hospitality.
Steak Perfection Takes Time
Savour culinary delights of the region and if you're serious about beef, our steaks are incomparable. From our Rump Steak to our 1.5kg Tomahawk and everything in between T- Bone, New York Cut or our famous dry aged steaks, you can’t go wrong!
Our bistro menu choice is "second to none" with classics such as, BBQ Pork Ribs or Chicken wings with our Red Heifer sticky BBQ sauce, House made, mouth watering pizza, pasta and salads.
If you're in casual mode the Lawson also serves all the old Pub Classics, Bangers & Mash, Burgers, House made Chicken Breast Schnitzel, Fish and Chips and lots of others.
Weekday lunch specials are great value from $18, and nightly specials are just as good including our famous Sunday slow roast lamb shoulder with all the trimmings.
If you leave room, don’t forget our house made desserts, selection Gelato or for the adults an Affogato
